These training materials give you the information, examples of good practice and challenges of deliivering applied health psychology Therapeutic Assessment, Formulation and Intervention in Practice to work through in your own time and pace.
The skills based in-depth training covers:
Day 1: Health psychology Assessment (risk & clinical interviewing)
Day 2: Health Psychology Formulation (therapeutic process)
Day 3: Health Psychology Interventions (cognitive and behavioural techniques to change illness and treatment beliefs, adjustment and outcomes)
This training is a component of the SCPS Consulting Certificate of Health Psychology Applied Therapeutic Knowledge. You can purchase the certificate as a package or pay separately for assessment of a submitted essay (following completion of all of the Components of the Knowledge within the Certificate).
The 1 hour of professional coaching from Sasha Cain, SCPS Consultant Health Psychologist gives you a tailored training experience, allowing you to prioritise your learning needs (clarify, ask questions, practice skills) so that you can learn to apply your training directly to your clients, workplace challenges and interests.
