Health Psychology Online Training Programme

We offer five 1-day CPD online training courses and one 3-day training which give you all the content, knowledge and skills of a face to face course but with the convenience of being in your own home, working through it in your own time and having no expense of travelling to the training venue. To maximise the learning from the online courses you are able to also have a 1-1 personal coaching session with SCCH to work through the course materials, ask further questions or complete tasks with - amazing value and opportunity for personalised learning.

ONLINE AND BESPOKE CLINICAL SKILLS EVENTS
SCPS training events have been developed over decades of expertise in teaching & training of Health Psychologists and Health and Social Care Professionals.
Our clinical credibility and extensive practitioner expertise and advanced therapeutic training underpin our applied therapeutic health behaviour change interventions skills for health psychology and healthcare services professionals.
Training events have a strong experiential focus on developing participants’ confidence and competency to apply the Health Psychology evidence base, models and theories into everyday clinical applied research/practice using a range of evidence based therapeutic methods, techniques and skills.

Our CPD training events are structured to provide a programme for qualified Health Psychologists wanting to work in applied practice & trainees wanting to develop applied skills within their postgraduate training (MSc, DPsych, Stage 2 + PhD) & Health and Social Care Professionals looking to integrate health psychology into their work.
Health Psychology Hybrid and Hosted Training Programme

We offer one & three day CPD training courses delivered online Hybrid training, combining self-directed learning and LIVE online workshops. Hybrid training offers flexibility and eliminates travel costs of face-to-face training, but retains the benefit of dedicated time to review materials with Sasha Cain, SCPS Director and Consultant Health Psychologist. We can also deliver programmes in University settings to course cohorts. These courses are high quality experiential skills training courses involving case studies, role play, observations and debate/discussion.

Health and Social Care Professionals Training Programme
Our Health and Social Care Professionals CPD Training events are developed from our extensive clinical experience and an in depth understanding of the challenges of working with long-term conditions and preventative-public healthcare services. We offer courses that are designed to support multidisciplinary healthcare professionals deliver high quality healthcare, ensuring health outcomes are improved and maintained over time.

"Training the Trainers" in Applied Health Psychology (2 day training)
Our "Training the Trainers" in Health Psychology events are specifically designed for academic course leaders, lecturers and other staff teaching on MSc and Stage 2 Health Psychology courses. We offer 2 training days that focus on supporting academic staff to teach applied practitioner knowledge and skills that is directly related to the UK Health Psychology postgraduate qualifications (Psychological Interventions Competences and Applied knowledge standards).
