Health Psychologists need to have clinical intervention skills to work with individuals and groups, using a framework of practice that enables them to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and deliver a safe, effective and legal practice. Specific information covered includes risk and mental capacity assessment, service development frameworks and governance procedures, record keeping legal requirements and challenges of practice e.g. whistleblowing. This online training programme equals 7 hours of CPD time providing information slides, exercises and tasks to complete that develop skills around ethical and professional health psychology practice. The 1 hour of professional coaching from Sasha Cain, SCPS Consultant Health Psychologist gives you a tailored training experience, allowing you to prioritise your learning needs (clarify, ask questions, practice skills) so that you can learn to apply your training directly to your clients, workplace challenges and interests.
