You will participate in a small training session provding you with information about the therapeutic model, examples of good practice and challenges of deliivering CBT within applied health psychology practice.
This training day provide you with an overview of the CBT Model and evidence base for working with physical health conditions and clients and gives knowledge and clinical skills to conduct a health psychology assessment and formulation integrating both HP and CBT models together. These training materials are valuable to practitioners who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in basic CBT techniques and processes so that they work more effectively with health psyhology clients and problems, in particular understanding the processes of conducting insightful clinical assessments and formulations to inform CBT interventions and practice.
This training provides a thorough introduction to the model and application so that you will be equipt to begin to develop and deliver your own HP CBT approach.
