This 3 day training brings together 3 therapeutic modalities into a package of training over 3 consecutive days. This allows you to skill up in a short period of time and to be able to compare and contrast the models most effectively. You will participate in a small group training session, which will provide you with information about the therapeutic model, examples of good practice and challenges of deliivering CBT within applied health psychology practice.
The training days provide you with an overview of all of the 3 therapeutic models and evidence base for working with physical health conditions and clients. It gives you both knowledge and clinical skills to conduct a health psychology assessment and formulation integrating both HP and these models together. These training materials are valuable to practitioners who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in basic therapeutic techniques and processes so that they work more effectively with health psychology clients and problems, in particular understanding the processes of conducting insightful clinical assessments and formulations to inform your interventions and practice.
This training provides a thorough introduction to the model and application so that you will be equipt to begin to develop and deliver your own HP therapeutic approach.
