3rd Practitioner Applied Health Psychology Conference 2024
Wednesday 26th June 2024 Online Conference #AHPC2024
IT'S BACK! After taking a few years off, the Practitioner Applied Health Psychology Conference has returned to provide the leading event in the UK showcasing the best practice of applied Practitioner Health Psychologists and for those in training.
This 1-day conference, held Online to increase accessibility & flexibility, and to reduce attendance costs, provides a dedicated and unique forum for the presentation on a wide range of applied health psychology practice issues. This time, the Conference is taking inspiration from the 2023 HCPC Standards of Proficiency and is putting the focus on how our work incorporates equity, diversity and inclusion for our client groups. Presentations are accepted across the range of health psychology practice: service development, audit and review, clinical service outcomes and case studies, ethical practice challenges, professional experiences of working in applied health settings and applied research into health psychology practice.
The conference draws together professionals with an interest in Applied Health Psychology from a wide range of experiences and backgrounds including public health, local authorities, charities/ third sector organisations, the NHS, social care, private healthcare, consultancy, independent practice and the commercial sector.
Delegate places available for non-psychologists & for non-uk based Psychologists
Conference presentations are not required to focus on 'data' or traditional outcome reporting, which allows Practitioners to present on topics that are inherently of interest to those working in applied health psychology practice delivering and working with real-world client groups/ populations and problems.
